by Staff Reporter | August 27th, 2012

C-Com Satellite Systems Inc. is showcasing the iNetVu Airline Checkable Flyaway antenna system, a portable unit with a six-piece carbon fibre reflector that can reportedly fit in a suitcase. It is configurable with the auto-pointing iNetVu 7024B/C Controller, cables and another electronic device such as a modem or PowerSmart power supply that can be installed in the second case. The Airline Checkable Flyaway system is configured to provide access to satellite communications for any application that requires remote connectivity in a rugged environment. Reportedly suited for applications that require a quick, simple set-up; vertical markets such as disaster management, oil & gas exploration, mining, construction, mobile offices and emergency services will benefit tremendously from the ACFLY’s ease of deployment.

The iNetVu 1201 Drive-Away antenna system is an auto-deploy VSAT terminal which can be mounted on the roof of a vehicle. Its reflector optics feature a long focal length for reportedly excellent cross-pol performance. All three motorised axes have low backlash and work together with integral sensors and the iNetVu 7024C Controller to ensure pointing accuracy. The 1201 Drive-Away system is configured to provide access to satellite communications. It is reportedly suited for demanding applications in rugged environments that require a quick set-up typically for industries such as SNG, disaster management, oil & gas exploration, mining, construction, mobile offices and emergency services.
