Vislink is showcasing its V-Net end-to-end video surveillance solutions at NAB 2012.

Vislink V-Net, according to the company spokesman, is a streamlined solution which integrates mobile, fixed and covert intelligence assets into a seamless flow of mission critical information. V-Net reportedly enables a coordinated crisis management response by combining video from a variety of deployed assets including police and fire aircraft and watercraft, then distributing it via an Internet Protocol (IP) network to first responders, command staff, and EOC personnel at multiple locations.

V-Net reportedly integrates microwave, IP, 4G LTE, and MESH networks into an optimised solution to display real-time tactical imagery on computers, tablets, and smart phones anywhere on the network.

“We are proud to be able to provide the surveillance community with the next generation of turnkey video solutions. V-Net is an innovative solution which has been shaped by our five decades of experience in the industry,” stated Mike Payne, managing director of Vislink, Inc.

By upgrading to a V-Net solution, agencies will reportedly have the most comprehensive wireless video surveillance system designed to enhance situational awareness and improve emergency response capabilities. V-Net systems, according to the company spokesman, are portable and quickly deployed, enabling rapid and intelligent decision-making. Vislink’s V-Net solutions reportedly deliver maximum range, and support multiple inbound and outbound video feeds.

V-Net is Vislink’s end-to-end surveillance solution with products ranging from miniature covert transmitters to sophisticated microwave networks designed for the transmission of IP, video, audio, and data. This new video collection product portfolio supports remote surveillance activities over short and medium ranges. Vislink’s V-Net products provide wide area distribution using 4G LTE, MESH, point-to-point microwave networks, and satellite uplinks. Legacy surveillance systems can be upgraded, according to the manufacturer, to deliver the improved performance and capabilities a V-Net system solution provides.
